In today's every changing world, our African American boys and young men are exposed to an upsetting myriad of social ideologies, violent environments, emotional repression mindsets, and environments lacking the enrichment and development they need.  Mentorship, coaching, counseling, and therapy within the African American community is already at alarmingly low presence and the overall mindset that "you're weak if you get help: towards seeking therapy does not help any!

Our African American boys and young men are growing into a mental and spiritual state driven by social media and "antiquated" parenting from the "old school" that only does them harm and reduces their inherent ability to open up, speak up, and openly discuss what's on their hearts and minds.

As a result, we are now dealing with boys and young men suffering identity crisis, depression, repressed anger, high anxiety, uncheck frustration and anger, and many other psychological warfare conditions that truly just shouldn't exist as prevalently as they do.

HOFCIC seeks to provide the environment, safe space, and resources for our young men and boys to emotionally thrive, feel okay to talk, and get the community support and mentorship they need through the several leaders and mentors in place within HOFCIC and HOFCIC's reach!

When our young men attend our workshops and events, they will leave feeling renewed, empowered, and owning their true power from within!  Over time and with consistent attendance and involvement, they'll grow to feel valued, honored, and having an incredible sense of purpose - walking with their backs straighter and their heads up higher!

HOFCIC will transform in the following areas:

  • Confidence and self esteem
  • Self worth and VALUE
  • Respect for self and others
  • Community duties and obligations
  • Leadership
  • Nutrition, diet, and lifestyle eating habits
  • Fitness and physical well being
  • Mental well being and meditation
  • Home life and parental acknowledgement
  • Academics, homework, and achieving high
  • Job and career readiness

Please be sure to get your young man involved, engaged, and enrolled in any of our upcoming events.  Reach out Carlos or Kelbie at 678-320-8696 or email us at hofcommunityimpact@gmail.com.
